We won! We are very pleased to announce that the voters entrusted Judge Engelhart with 4 more years as Judge of the 151st Civil District Court in the November 3, 2020 election. Thank you to the voters of Harris County, Texas!
Judge Engelhart and his wife Eva welcomed Lisa and Bruce Watkins to their home on Tuesday night, October 27, 2020. They were the winners of the Trivia Night Contest at the Judge’s most recent 2020 Campaign Fundraiser. The two couples enjoyed a socially-distanced dinner and great company and the Judge was very pleased to present their trophy for their well-earned win.
BIG ENDORSEMENT ALERT!
We need leaders who will stand up for working families, and that’s why Judge Engelhart is so proud to receive an endorsement from the Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO.
“My grandfather, Harry Avrutin, was Secretary of the AFL-CIO New York City Central Labor Council in the 1970s and 1980s. I have clear memories of Labor Day parades where he was honored and wore an official sash and hat. I know he would be very pleased and proud of this endorsement. Workers are crucial to America’s well being, and I am gratified to have their support for re-election in 2020,” said Judge Engelhart.
Judge Engelhart is pleased to announce that he has sought and received the endorsement of the Houston Black American Democrats for re-election in November 2020. This group works as hard as any to elect Democrats in the Houston area and throughout Texas and the United States. The diversity of the Democratic Party is its strength and its hope for the future. This endorsement is incredibly meaningful and important. Thank you to H-BAD!
